Construction Worker Fatally Falls From Wicker Park Building

Fatal accidents that happen in the workplace, as well as those that occur in construction, can happen for various reasons.  Some of these reasons include poor training, lack of clear communication, improper safety procedures, worker error, and faulty equipment.

One example of a fatal construction accident happened on Friday (September 23, 2016) morning in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood.  The fatal accident involved a 54-year-old construction worker who fell off of the third floor of a building that was under construction in the 1600-block of West Division Street.
