Fatal Work Accident At Geneva Commons In Geneva

Workplace accidents can happen for a variety of reasons.  Accident causes include errors in judgment; lack of proper supervision; lack of focus on safety; poor employee training; lack of communication; unsafe work conditions; defective equipment; and improper and/or inadequate tools.  Many of these causes can be traced back to poor safety practices and/or attempts to minimize expenses.

As with any accident in which someone has been hurt or fatally injured, a qualified personal injury lawyer can determine if there was negligence involved and whether accident injury compensation may be attainable.  Depending upon the specifics of the accident, the filing of a personal injury lawsuit may be appropriate.  In the instance of a fatal workplace accident, the filing of a wrongful death suit may be warranted.

On this site, Illinois work accidents are listed under the “Illinois workplace accidents” category.  Accidents – many fatal – that happen during construction and/or on construction sites are listed under the “Illinois Construction Accidents” category.
